Pricing

One plan.
Three ways to pay for it.

One subscription, three billing periods, and one full session before you pay for any of it. You should not have to buy the thing to find out whether it helps you.

before you pay

One full session, free.

The whole app, not a cut-down one: nothing captured until you press Start, the transcript on your own machine, generated replies, all four shortcuts. You sign in with your email to start it, and you subscribe afterwards only if it earned the money.

what the price covers

  • Live sessions — Start is the only gate
  • The other side’s words, transcribed on your own machine
  • A suggested reply 1.1 s after they stop talking
  • Verified answers, kept on your Mac and answered offline
  • Three signed-in devices, each removable from the app
  • Cancel it yourself, in the app, any day
  • Windows, on the same one planSoon
  • The microphone is never requested, on any plan
  • Replies in six languages; listening in any this Mac transcribes on the device
  • Never hidden from the other side

No audio is written to disk, on any plan, at any price. When a reply is generated, the question, the last three turns and your About-you note pass through our server for the seconds it takes. None of it is written to disk. The rest of the transcript never leaves this Mac. Read the policy.

changed · 1 October 2026

Converside became a subscription on 1 October 2026.

We supply the model now and we pay for every reply, so the price had to change with it. Usage is never billed to you, and nothing on this page is metered.

  • before you payOne free session: thirty minutes or fifty generated replies, whichever comes first, once per account.
  • after itOne subscription, three billing periods, cancelled in the app.
  • what we holdThere is an account and there is a server. Both are described in full on the privacy page.
  • teamsNo team plan at launch. Write to contact@converside.com.

Used the free version before 1 October 2026? What the change means for you is set out in the note the founder wrote on 1 October 2026, and nowhere else, so that there is one answer and not two.

The fine print, in full size

Everything a subscription raises,
answered before you pay.

Do I need an account now?

Yes, and it is the honest headline of this change. One email address and no password: we send a link, or a six-digit code if you would rather type one. Sign-in opens your own browser, never a window inside the app. Three signed-in devices per account, each removable from Setup › Account in the app.

Is there a limit on how much I can use?

There is a fair-use ceiling on generated requests — a suggested reply, or an answer drafted for you — set where ordinary work never meets it. It exists so that one sign-in cannot be shared around an office or driven by a script, not to ration your day. If you ever reach it the app says so in plain words, your verified answers carry on answering, and the count resets at midnight. There is nothing to buy that raises it and no cheaper tier that lowers it — the figure is written into section 9 of the terms, not sold back to you as a tier.

What happens when I cancel?

You keep Pro to the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing renews after it. Cancelling is yours to do: Cancel subscription, in Setup › Account, opens Stripe’s billing page, and the press there is the whole of it. It needs no email to us first. There is no retention offer and no email chain.

What happens to my verified answers if I stop paying?

They stay, and they keep answering. They live on your Mac, they work without an account or a network, and a lapsed subscription does not touch them. What stops is the generated reply, the one that needs our server.

Is there a refund?

Yes. You can have your first payment refunded within 14 days, no reason needed. Renewals are not refunded; cancelling stops the next charge, and Pro runs to the end of the period you paid for.

To ask for it, write to contact@converside.com from the address on your account. Deleting your account ends a paid plan at once, under the same rule. Section 6 of the terms says this in the same words, and consumer law where you live may give you more.

What do you store about me?

Your email, your plan, a payment reference, a count of replies in the current period, the list of signed-in devices, and the UTC offset that sets your midnight. That is the complete list. No audio exists anywhere, and there is no per-request log of what you asked. The policy says the same thing at length.

What shows up on my card statement?

Payments run through Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us; we keep a payment reference and nothing else. A receipt arrives by email the moment you are charged, carrying Bytek LLC — the same name your card statement shows.

Does it work without the internet?

Partly, and it tells you which part. It still listens, still transcribes on your Mac and still answers from your verified bank, under the words “Offline — verified answers only”. It does not sign you out. Generated replies need a connection; there is no offline model.

Can I change how often I pay?

Yes. Change plan, in Setup › Account, opens Stripe’s billing page in your browser. It shows what changes, and from which date, before you confirm anything.

What if it will not run on my Mac?

Then you have not paid anything, which is the point of running a full session first. Converside needs macOS 14 or later, on Apple silicon or Intel. If it fails there, write to contact@converside.com and tell us what happened.

Buying for a team? There is no team plan at launch — write to contact@converside.com.
